One is a designer, the other an architect; both have a passion for quality and attention to detail. The husband and wife team of Bob and Jane Nettleton owns G.J. Gardner - Douglas County, serving Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Castle Pines, Castle Rock and Larkspur.
"Actually, Bob is an architect by education and I am an art historian by education" states Jane Nettleton. "That, combined with our expertise in designing, building and restoring homes, helps us to take a team approach when helping our clients". The couple, with deep roots in Denver, have built and restored homes in some of the finest neighborhoods in the area.
Bob Nettleton has a degree in architecture from the University of Virginia. He has been in the homebuilding business since 1977. "I have extensive experience in land acquisition and development, construction management, sales and marketing, plus architecture and design." says Bob. When asked about his particular strengths, he replies, "I've been told it’s my focus on precision and attention to detail and fine craftsmanship. Also, structural integrity and incorporating energy awareness and state of the art technology are all important to me".
How will the couple's expertise and extensive experience translate to their new custom homebuilding business through G.J. Gardner? "We are looking forward to this new phase in our professional lives." says Jane. "With G.J. Gardner we see an incredible opportunity to work with younger buyers, to guide them as they design their dream home," Jane continues. "Our philosophy revolves around close interaction with the client from site selection through every phase of the process."
